Coaching to fully tap into your potential
Coaching is...
For nearly 20 years now, I have been coaching executives, senior managers and sometimes their teams, but also the self-employed, or persons simply looking to develop their skills.
Coaching is above all a process of awareness, introspection, reflection and observation. It aims to identify obstacles and harness one’s full potential.
The desired outcome is to increase cohesiveness and efficiency, all the while remaining true to oneself and one’s values. It seeks to create a space to be able to make relevant choices in line with one’s true needs and options.

Why coaching?
Choosing to embark on a coaching journey can stem from a one-off or recurring problem, a conflict within that we are unable to solve with our usual and automatic processes (i.e. what we know how to do and/or do without even thinking about it).
It gives us the opportunity to identify our mental blocks or repetitive processes, but also to identify new resources that are all but waiting to be brought to light and put into action!

A “Shared Journey”
The role of a coach is to help and encourage the coachee to garner his or her resources in order to implement the chosen course of action.
Coaching is above all a “shared journey” with a clear objective and stages that sometimes contain surprises. It is a time of personal focus and work that leads to personal development. By contrast, it is not a series of “living room conversations”, nor is it psychotherapy or even training!
Coaching sessions can be held face-to-face or through other virtual means of communication. They translate into discussions, questions and exploring through reflection or creativity tools.
The coach is responsible for the overall framework and process, while the coachee commits to implementing the action points identified during the session.
The process can be seen as the coach and the coachee writing a music score together, but it is the coachee’s responsibility to choose the instruments and the overall interpretation.
